Starting with a modest $5,000 monthly test budget, we needed to prove that Display advertising could match or beat their successful Facebook campaigns. The key metric wasn't just cost per lead - it was subscriber quality and engagement. Their existing Facebook campaigns were performing well, setting a high bar for any new channel to prove its worth.
We launched an extensive testing campaign across the Google Display Network. Through rigorous testing of creative elements, messaging angles, and targeting options, we identified winning combinations that could scale profitably. We tested thousands of creative variations and refined our targeting through contextual, topic, and audience testing.
Once we found winning combinations, we scaled spend aggressively while maintaining performance, eventually reaching $500K to $1M in monthly spend.
